Paste AI-generated JSON or load a previous Movie Vault backup. Merge is the safe default and never deletes existing items.
Backup & export
Download the complete shared movie and TV collections as JSON, including every saved profile state. Keep a copy before major imports.
Backups can be re-imported with Merge or Replace. Replace mode can restore all saved profile states because it recreates the saved documents.

Shared
Movie and TV libraries, shared watchlists, shared notes, tags, and metadata.
Personal
Each approved profile has separate movie watched status, TV episode progress, rating, favorite, and personal notes.
Movie metadata
TMDB supplies titles, artwork, cast, directors, people, and streaming providers. OMDb can optionally supply IMDb ratings.
Clear shared vault
This deletes every movie and TV show document for everyone in the shared vault. Export a backup first.
